One of the recent Greek erotic thrillers, DEEP END, has greatly contributed to director Thanasssis Antoniou's reputation as one of the most talented series-maker of the Greek Television.

DEEP END is an extraordinary erotic thriller whereby two men will fight over the same woman. The one is Kostas Sommer (Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo), a charming young man who has married Natalia Lionaki, a successful gynecologist, for her money. The other is Alekos Syssovitis (Straight Story), a rich and accomplished guy who has married Maria Korinthiou, an eye-turning nymphet.

Both Korinthiou and Sommer truly know how to cash in on their beauty. They may all hang out together, but they also have their own well-kept secret. It seems that they are illicit lovers waiting for the right time to get rid of their spouses and spend the rest of their lives in each other's arms.

Over the course of a long weekend in a remote and peaceful beach, the two couples will come to re-examine their emotional bonds and tackle the question of whether love and affection are even possible in a world built out of sexual hysteria, decadent idylls and death.

Photographed in vivid colors by the critically acclaimed Greek photographer Prokopis Dafnos (The Souls of the Fishing Boats, Hawaii), from a script written by the multi-awarded Greek screenwriter Alexandros Kakavas (End of an Era, Wind Over the City, Stream), DEEP END is a compelling and powerful thriller with a twisted end. Even the cleverest male cannot predict the haunted minds of two deadly females.
